Just finished upgrading my Ubuntu to the latest Hardy Heron.
It took a while, cause I keep getting wrong md5 sum when I download the iso from iinet mirror. But in the end I get it all done.
From the first impression, nothing much changed, everything is still pretty much the same.
I still couldn’t get my VMware to work, it seems to be a bit tricky, perhaps I need to get the latest version of VMware workstation.

I started new job at BMW, one of the most respectable car maker. It is kinda a mix feeling, it seems that I am trading off my flexibility with more restrictive in terms of working hour.
The job was pretty similar to what I had previously, I am an analyst programmer, who maintain one of their many business software, specifically in the Imaging and Wholesale area.
I hope this is a change for the better, and I can get something more out of it.
