Sweet & Sour Calamari

This is one of my favourite dish. I was cleaning. up my desk drawer and stumble across this recipes, handwritten by Mom.

I took the time to read and post it.

Sweet & Sour Calamari

  • 750 gr Calamari medium sized cut
  • 1 pcs carrot sliced think (optional)
  • 1/2 pcs Green Capsicum sliced into medium about 1.5 cmx1.5 cm (Optional)

  • 750 gr Calamari medium sized cut
  • 1 pcs carrot sliced think (optional)
  • 1/2 pcs Green Capsicum sliced into medium about 1.5 cmx1.5 cm (Optional)

Instructions
  1. Grind the fresh shallots and Onion, then set aside.
  2. Heat oil in the frying pan, then tip in the grind shallots and onion till the fragrance came out
  3. Tip the rest of the ingredient in the spices, and stir till it smells good.
  4. (Optional) You can add capsicum and carrots if you like some vegetable to go with it.
  5. Tip in the calamari, and stir well, the calamari is cook when it starts to curl.
  6. Serve it in the dish and sprinkle some spring onion for garnish
