Smooth and soft Green Tea and Cocoa Sponge cake. This recipes is from my sister in law. The flower pattern is quite amazing for such a simple cake.
Green Tea and Cocoa Sponge Cake
Egg yolk mix
Mixed the egg yolk, cooking oil, milk and 25 gr of sugar until all evenly mixed
Sift the cake flour in to the mix above
Egg White mix
Beat egg white separately until stiff and pour the 55 gr of caster sugar while beating
Fold gently the egg white mix with the egg yolk mix until the two mixed completely
Split the combine mix into 2 separate bowl
Mix the first bowl with cocoa powder
Mix the second bowl with matcha powder
Pour the two mix into the baking tray, one mix at a time in small quantities on top of each other.
Baked it in the oven 150 Degrees for 60 minutes. Once done, let it cool, pops the cake out and enjoy with a good cup of green tea or coffee.
