Just came back from lunch having dumpling noodles, this is a restaurant underground that you can never find if you don’t know where it is, the restaurant is actually next to a Barber shop which is also underground. The noodle comes with 2 big dumpling and vegetable kimchi and radish side dishes. Cost W6000
Same old breakfast, with croissant, chese, cracker, smoked salmon, salad, tomatoes, fried rice, hash brown and vegetable porridge.
Just came back from Dinner, and Itaewon to had my suit fitted. So they will deliver my suit on the 13 one day before my departure. The dinner is consist of grilled fish, assorted Kimchi, squid, black bean and peanut with fishcake.
we went to restaurant that have a set menu for lunch, it served grilled mackarel and other type of grilled fish, along with fish in heavy chilli sauced soup. The is also side dishes of tiny prawn, kimchi and cucumber. Also we ordered one Bibimbab for sharing.
I had another big breakfast this morning, started with some smoked salmon, salad, tomatoes, croissant, cheese and cracker. Then an egg, hashbrown, porridge and dumpling.
Just came back from lunch and I am feeling extremely full. I had the silken tofu with Octopuss and Oyster cooked in spicy soup. It is really reach of flavour. Obviously it was served with assorted Kimchi, seaweed and spicy squid. The rice is also served in one of those bowl made from stone where you had to pour water into the bowl and then eat the rice water after you finished your meal.
I wake up at about 6:30 AM and was very hungry, so I decided to go down and had 3 slice of smoked salmon, a croissant, 2 biscuit with cheese and some salad, tomatoes with thousand island dressing. Then I had some fried rice with egg, 2 hashbrown, some dumplings, and a little bit of porridge with seaweed.
Started with a quick breakfast, I only had a donut, smoke salmon, salad and porridge and then head to Gwanghwamun st. I saw Vishal & Somnath were there so finally they decided to hop on to the tour as well. The bus stop 2 times before we finally arrived at Gyeongju. I just missed the bus that can take me to bulgoksa temple, and I had been waiting for the last half hour. Finally bus 700 arrived, and it cost w1500 to get to bulguksa temple, it is ancient temple, with quite a large complex, but it is jammed packed with tourist, so I decided to take few pictures, then head back to car park. Bus 12 only depart every hr and the next one is 3:40 PM, and it will came down at 4:00 PM, so I don’t think I can make it back in time, so I decided to wait for the bus back.
Started with trip to itaewon, I get a suit made it cost w500000, and I had to come back Tuesday for fitting. I also had 2 shirt custom made as well. Then from there, I went to M Plaza in Myeong Dong, the Daiso shop is located on 4th floor, I picked up lots of things, containers, stamps, stickers, snack, bag sealers, ink. Then I stop buy the clothing store to get some accessories for Hui and Mom, also a sweat pants. From there I go to Numdaemun, back to camers store to pick up Jerri’s filter, it cost w20000, from the original cost of w25000. The lense he is asking for cost too much.
From there, I went to check out the Gyeongbokgung castle, when I arrived the changing of the guards are in process. The palace is quite small in comparison to Japanese castle. On the way out I checked the Korean folk museum, then from there it is a small walk to Insadong.
I decided to try the donut for breakfast, it taste pretty good actually, with some french loaf, croissant, butter and tiny piece of smoked salmon. Then some fried rice, hash brown, dumplings and seafood porridge.
