I was in a gangster chase sort of thing, and they are looking for a guy during graduation, and after the first graduation ceremony the second one is organised just for this purpose. Not sure what they are after but a few big players are there. Apprently Sue wright is there to as the withness, she looked different though, still big in size, and at one point in wheel chair, but then she can walk.
There is Uncle Hotman and his wife, watching the ceremony in the podium, and auntie was commenting on Sue’s dress.
There is a fireworks which looks kinda wierd. Then a mock chicken with string to simulate the birds flying and laying eggs.

I just came back from Sonny’s house warming. It is a nice house located at Boxhill south. Weather board, with 3 bedroom, and one Lounge room. Massive back yard. When I arrive with Sofian & Gary, there is a huge Calf on the BBQ, at the time is it still raw and the charcoal is not burning hot yet.


Then we set it up and start grilling it. We got some chicken on a smaller BBQ, as well, lamb, prawn and calamari. Sonny was busy running around entertaining guest. While me and Gary take turn serving the guest and preparing the BBQ, also Frank, one of Sonny’s friend.
Melissa was there as well, at the time, when I saw her I thought you look familiar, and it turn out it is her, and she is doing some business online now, igadget.com.au good stuff.

Phew, Finally the upgrade of my Debian box is completed. I thought there is something wrong with it. But it turns out ok when I try to access it from this lappy. I think it must have worked all along. Wierd though, I still need to find out what is the cause to the problem.

I survive the first day at ACC, it is not bad I got a good 3Ghz pc with 3 monitors. The LAN is a bit messy but that is something to be improved on. Also file sharing is messy, warez is also like that.
I really need to lock it all down, met a few guys which I can’t remember the names now, Paul, Luke in the development area. Brian next door, and Ian who Brendan spoke of.

I was in the chapel a bit early, Lai was already there. So I chat a bit with him and his wife, then Michael arrived.

Brendan arrive a few moments later. The funny thing is Lee is informing him of the wrong chapel and he had to confim with me which chapel is it on. The chapel was pretty, apparently the altar is a Gothic style & imported from italy. Magnificent mozaic window & high roof. This is the first time I went to any wedding here. The mass wasn’t that bad. Lee was a bit late cause he went to the wrong church.

Yesterday was my last day at AdvaTel. It is kinda sad to leave all the people but it is for the better. I managed to finished the Presence server and also a stable version of the Exodus client. Then hand it all to Lee. I hope he is able to cope with it, but then again, another bloke is starting on Monday.
Then after work as usual Brendan & Morgan drag me to the bar. And have a few drinks there before heading to 3 Degree for Sharon’s drink, Vonny Sonny and Kerby was there already. I didn’t drink there though and then after a while heading to Num Long 2 for dinner, I had wonton noodle which taste pretty plain. Only Kerby and Sonny was there for dinner, and also Will a friend of Kerby and his girlfriend.

I got my ADSL2 router today, yay. Guess what, the inline filter is missing and also the phone line cable. What a pain. I had to called them up and get them to sort it out. The instruction is also quite useless. But I manage to connect it successfully. However the iinetphone is still not working, so I guess I still had to wait for a few days before it is active. One strange thing though, the connection speed is only 1.5K, it is suppose to be 12 Meg.

It seems that I can’t stop spending. But that’s ok I need to settle down abit.
I went to JB hifi and bought a Samsung DVD player, it can play mp3, divx, xvid and vcd, svcd and of course DVD, so far so good, I had hack the region code via remote, the darn code given was useless, as usual internet is your friend. I tried the srt subtitle seems to be working fine, but it seems that the .sub and .idx not working if the sub is compressed in rar. I need to burn it uncompressed to try it out. It is also pretty sleek. Originally I wanted to get LG DF9921P, but unfortunately this one’s firmware is not upgradeable while Samsung can and samsung comes with the HDMI cables which apparently cost about $100. So I paid $264 for it and the guy throw in some cd wipe. Which is kinda cool.
